San Pedro ~ Huachuma Medicinal Salve

Description

Huachuma (Echinopsis Pachanoi), or San Pedro cactus, is native to the Andes region of South America. The columns of night-blooming cactus can grow up to twenty feet. They are a very important and sacred medicinal plant too many indigenous Andean people. San Pedro has been traditionally used as a sacrament in the healing of various illnesses, invocation of visionary states of consciousness, & communication with the ancestral spirits. is The plant medicine has also been traditionally used to cure addiction to drugs & alcohol, as well as anxiety & depression.

This Huachuma herbal salve was handcrafted over a sacred fire in ancestral black clay pottery from Columbia. During the extraction process, temperatures had never exceeded  120 degrees in order to protect the medicinal properties of the plant, as well as the vitamins & minerals of the oils. All parts of the Huachuma plant material have been purposefully added to the salve & are naturally concentrated at the bottom of each jar. By doing so, we hope to offer the wholeness of the plant for deeper connection with the plant spirit. This plant medicine was handcrafted with a prayer for fruitful intentions, love to be shared, and peace for all to be well.
